Alexandra Corbin, BS is a fourth-year medical student at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, where she will graduate in May 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the College of Engineering at Cornell University, graduating magna cum laude in 2020.
Since the start of medical school, Alexandra has been actively involved in clinical otolaryngology research, with over 10 peer-reviewed publications and more than 50 national presentations. She also contributes to the editorial side of research as an Assistant Editor for the Journal of Student-Run Clinics. Nationally, she holds leadership roles in two otolaryngology organizations: Chair of Education for the National Otolaryngology Interest Group (NOIG) and Editor-in-Chief of The Auricle, a peer-reviewed ENT newsletter written by medical students for medical students. She plans to apply for otolaryngology residency in the 2025–2026 match cycle and hopes to integrate her engineering background, research experience, and dedication to education in her future career as an aspiring academic otolaryngologist.
