Prith is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (Class of 2022). He completed a year of scholarly research between third and fourth year in the lab of Dr. Aaron Remenschneider at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary. His primary research interest has been on the otopathology of presbycusis, and he has been involved in studies related to methods of middle ear reconstruction as well as the impact of COVID-19 on communication for patients with hearing difficulties.
He is currently enrolled in the Population based Urban and Rural Community Health (PURCH) Track where has developed an interest in addressing the social determinants of health. His core public health passion is around promoting awareness, legislation, and brainstorming urban design initiatives to address the impacts of noise pollution.
Prith is excited to apply to residency in the field of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.
