Chappel Pettit is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center pursuing a career in otolaryngology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Mississippi State University, where she developed a strong foundation in medical innovation and problem-solving. Chappel has participated in otolaryngology research across multiple subspecialties, including head and neck oncology with a focus on total laryngectomies and oral cavity cancer, as well as pediatric otolaryngology research involving cochlear implants and myringoplasties. She is passionate about advancing patient care and looks forward to contributing to the evolving landscape of ENT as a future resident physician.
