Chappel Pettit is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center pursuing a career in otolaryngology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Mississippi State University, where she developed a strong foundation in medical innovation and problem-solving. Chappel has participated in otolaryngology research across multiple subspecialties, including head and neck oncology with a focus on total laryngectomies and oral cavity cancer, as well as pediatric otolaryngology research involving cochlear implants and myringoplasties.
