Dr. Brian D'Anza, MD, FACS is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology in the Division of Sinus and Skull Base Surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He serves as the System Medical Director for Digital Health and Telehealth at University Hospitals (UH), where he is also an Attending Surgeon. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. D'Anza is an active member of the UH AI Clinical Advisory Council and the incoming Chair of the AAO-HNS Telehealth Committee.
Dr. D'Anza has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, with a recent focus on the integration of AI in healthcare. He frequently consults and provides expertise to innovative organizations, including the Veale Healthcare Transformation Institute and various startups in the digital health and AI sectors.
Passionate about the potential of AI in medicine, Dr. D'Anza is also mindful of its challenges and limitations. He is committed to advancing the development and implementation of AI tools, as well as training physicians to use them effectively and responsibly.
