Alison J. Yu, MD is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Rhinology in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. She graduated from University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor in Mathematics and a Bachelor in Biological Sciences. She then went on to continue her studies at USC with a degree in medicine and residency training in otolaryngology. She then completed fellowship training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests are in clinical outcomes research, focusing on understanding disparities in rhinology and utilizing strategies to make surgical and non-surgical options available to all individuals with rhinologic needs.
