Dr. Enver Ozer, MD is the Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Ohio State University (OSU). Dr. Ozer has established one of the first Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) programs worldwide at OSU. He has been successfully treating patients with TORS and comparing the quality of life benefits of this technique with the traditional open or non-surgical options under a clinical trial at the James Cancer Hospital at OSU.
Dr. Ozer was the first to describe technique for Robotic nasopharyngectomy. While having numerous experiences with TORS, Dr Ozer has performed the first transaxillary robotic thyroidectomy at Central Ohio. Dr Ozer is one of the charter members of the Society of Robotic Surgery.
