Dr. Amit Wolfovitz is a fellowship-trained Otologist and Neurotologist in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Sheba Medical Center, Israel’s leading academic and tertiary referral hospital. He serves as Director of Neurotology and Lateral Skull Base Surgery and Co-Director of the Vestibular Center at Sheba, where he leads complex surgical and diagnostic programs for disorders of hearing, balance, and the skull base.
Dr. Wolfovitz earned his Doctor of Medicine degree summa cum laude from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Bnai Zion Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. He subsequently pursued advanced subspecialty fellowship training in Otology and Neurotology at the renowned University of Miami Health System.
In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Wolfovitz is a Lecturer at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, where he is actively engaged in academic teaching and mentorship of the next generation of ENT specialists.
His clinical and research interests include complex ear surgery, cochlear implantation, vestibular disorders, and lateral skull base tumors. He is passionate about integrating advanced technology, evidence-based care, and multidisciplinary collaboration to improve outcomes for patients with challenging neurotologic conditions.
