Viran Ranasinghe, MD. Assistant Professor, Department of Otolaryngology, University of Texas Medical Branch. I am a head and neck surgeon at UTMB and I specialize in head and neck oncologic and reconstructive surgery. I have particular interest in transoral robotic surgery and salivary malignancy. My research interests include simulation training in surgery and understanding the impact of social media on how patients obtain medical information.
