Dr. Sepehr Salehpour, MD, is an otorhinolaryngologist and research associate in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Iowa. He completed his ENT residency at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran, where he also earned his medical degree. With extensive clinical experience, Dr. Salehpour has performed thousands of ENT and facial plastic surgeries, including rhinoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, and OSA-related procedures.
At the University of Iowa, Dr. Salehpour is actively involved in research on noise-induced hearing loss, contributing to multiple ongoing projects and co-authoring several manuscripts currently under peer review. His work focuses on advancing pharmacologic and translational approaches to hearing preservation.
Dr. Salehpour is a member of the Iranian ENT Specialist Association and the Iranian Plastic Surgery Association. He is committed to integrating clinical expertise with academic research and fostering international collaboration in the field of otolaryngology.
