Matthew Shew, MD is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. Matthew is a board certified Otolaryngologist and Otologist & Neurotologist. Dr. Shew specializes in treating patietns for hearing loss, chronic ear disease, cochlear implants, skull base tumors, vestibular schwannomas, and other otology & neurotology related conditions. His research interest are focused on how we can leverage advance technologies like AI and machine learning to better predict cochlear implant performance and improve precision medicine delivery in Otolaryngology. He is currently associate editor for JAMA-Otolaryngology Artificial Intelligence / Digital Health
