Kaiming Su, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Otolaryngology who serves as the Chief of the Pediatric Obstructive Sleep Apnea Center and Deputy Director of the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at The Sixth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine — a designated National Key Clinical Specialty.
A highly experienced surgeon, Dr. Su specializes in the treatment of pediatric obstructive sleep apnea, having performed over 10,000 surgical procedures. His clinical expertise encompasses endoscopic sinus surgery, nasal reconstruction, and functional rhinoplasty. His research program is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of pediatric OSA, with a focus on elucidating its pathogenesis, improving diagnostic methods, and developing innovative minimally invasive techniques. He is the Principal Investigator for two national-level research grants and has secured multiple regional grants to support his investigative work.
Dr. Su received his medical degree from Nanjing Medical University and earned his PhD from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He completed postdoctoral training as a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) from 2015 to 2016.
