Dr. Daniela Carvalho, MD MMM is a pediatric otolaryngologist at Rady Children s Hospital San Diego and a Professor of the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Department at UCSD. She is the Director of the Hearing and Cochlear Implant Program at Rady Children's Hospital of San Diego (RCHSD) since 2003 and the Medical Director of Surgical Services at RCHSD, where more than 20,000 surgeries are performed in children annually.
She has published extensively and has been invited as a speaker in more than 100 intermational lectures.
Dr. Carvalho is very active in several national and international otolaryngology societies and is currently the President of SENTAC (Society for Ear, Nose, and Throat Advancement in Children).
In addition to English, she is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, and also speaks German and French.
