Edward McCoul, MD, MPH, is Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Director of Rhinology and Sinus Surgery at Ochsner Clinic & Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana. He holds academic appointments at Tulane University and the University of Queensland. He is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine and also holds master’s degrees in epidemiology and pharmacology. He completed otolaryngology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City, followed by fellowship training in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College—New York Presbyterian Hospital. He has served on the Editorial Board of the official journal of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery and serves as Associate Editor of JAMA Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. He is a fellow of the Triological Society, the American Rhinologic Society and the American College of Surgeons.
