Resident, Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences
Duke University Medical Center

Dr. Hunter Elms, MD, is a fourth year otolaryngology and head and neck surgery resident at Duke University. His research interests include temporal bone osteoradionecrosis, measurement of vestibular compensation, and implantable otologic devices. His favorite surgery right now is stapedectomy, but the surgical breadth of otolaryngology makes it difficult for him to keep a single favorite too long. Outside of the OR, he enjoys running a weekly brewery 5K, reading postmodern literature, and swimming in the Eno River.
