Dr. Ahmad R. Sedaghat, MD, PhD is Professor, Executive Vice Chair, Director of the Division of Rhinology, Allergy and Anterior Skull Base Surgery, and Residency Program Director in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. After completing his MD and PhD in immunology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, he completed both his otolaryngology residency and rhinology fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Sedaghat is a recognized expert in the field of rhinology and his research is focused on the area of psychometrics and understanding/developing/optimizing outcome measures for chronic rhinosinusitis, as well as performance of clinical trials. Dr. Sedaghat has published over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts and has given invited lectures throughout the world. He is also currently Associate Editor of Rhinology, International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology, and European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, and serves on the editorial boards of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Laryngoscope, Laryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology, and Clinical Otolaryngology.
