Dr. Cordes is in private practice in northern California. Her first post-residency position was in private practice in central Indiana. After that, she was in full-time academic otolaryngology for fourteen years including serving as residency program director. She was in an employed practice in northern California before taking her current position in a single-specialty private practice group. She also remains as a volunteer faculty at Indiana University School of Medicine in order to continue her humanitarian work.
Dr. Cordes has served on multiple committees for the AAO and is former chair of the BOG Legislative Affairs Committee, the Humanitarian Efforts Committee, and the Women In Otolaryngology Section. She is former Member At Large of the BOG.
