Carine Tamamian is a third-year medical student at the UC San Diego School of Medicine. She earned her bachelor's degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UCLA. Carine is passionate about public health and medical education within the field of Otolaryngology. She served as the 2025 President of the Unified California Community Health Conference, where she facilitated statewide discussions on health equity and access to care. Her work includes advocacy for improved thyroid cancer screening, community-based HPV education, and research on age-related changes in swallowing function through the Medical Student Training in Aging Research program.
