Ana Luiza Restanho Vernaschi is a fifth-year medical student at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), Sorocaba campus. She currently serves as president of the Otolaryngology Academic League at PUC-SP, having served as vice-president the previous year. During her leadership, she organized several academic courses and events, including otoscopy training and specialty symposiums, contributing to the technical and scientific development of students in the field.
In 2024, Ana Luiza participated in the 54th Brazilian Congress of Otolaryngology (ABORL), where she co-authored scientific papers presented at the event, showing dedication to academic research in the specialty.
In addition to her academic activities, she completed a practical internship in Otolaryngology at the Medical School of Marília (FAMEMA) in early 2025, deepening her clinical knowledge and skills in patient care and management.
Ana Luiza is also engaged in social and community health projects, actively participating in outreach campaigns through the ABC Project, which provides medical care to underserved regions.
Her academic and practical background reflects a strong commitment to quality medicine, especially in Otolaryngology, the specialty she intends to pursue in her future career.
