Dr. Vincent Honrubia is the Director and Founder of South Texas Sinus Institute in Edinburg, Texas. A visionary in bringing leading innovative healthcare practices to an underserved geographical area, Dr. Honrubia was the first otolaryngologist to offer advanced endoscopic sinus surgery to the Rio Grande Valley. Since then he has performed over 2000 balloon sinuplasty sinus procedures across South Texas, as well as over 10000 traditional advanced endoscopic sinus procedures over the last 18 years . Dr. Honrubia’s educational background encompasses the University of California Medical School, General Surgery Internships at Northwestern University and Columbus Hospital in Chicago, Illinois following an Otolaryngology Residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.

This new innovative procedure allows physicians to offers patients a minimally invasive in-office procedure that enables the surgeon to perform a complete sinus operation with return to work and activity almost immediately. His strategic vision with creating a unique procedure for the delivery of balloon sinuplasty has transformed the way this procedure is practiced across the United States. He has been recognized as a proctor for Acclarent by Johnson & Johnson to train other otolaryngologists across the country on balloon sinuplasty techniques focusing on the Honrubia Technique™, and has published multiple articles on the topic.
