Amy Wang, B.A., is a rising fourth-year medical student at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She is a native Houstonian and completed her undergraduate education in Economics and Kinesiology at Rice University. Amy is the current research fellow for the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is passionate about epidemiology, health equity, and improving outcomes for underserved patient populations. This will be her first trip with REI and she is excited to join the team. In her free time, Amy enjoys exploring Nashville, traveling, and discovering new restaurants.
