Chau Phung is a third-year medical student from Houston, TX. She and her family immigrated to the United States from Vietnam in 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Arts in Neuroscience with a minor in Social Inequality, Health, and Policy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021.
She actively pursues her interest in Otolaryngology as the co Vice Presidents for the ENT Interest Group and through ongoing research initiatives. Additionally, she serves as a near-peer mentor for the Surgery Clerkship, guiding and supporting fellow medical students.
Outside of medicine, Chau enjoys sharing her Vietnamese heritage through cooking, often preparing specialty dishes for friends. She also loves spending time at the dog park with her beloved dog, Noodle.
