Dr. Turner is a Virginia native and attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate studies. She obtained her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. She completed her residency training at New York University School of Medicine in New York, New York, followed by fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in head and neck surgical oncology. Her particular areas of interest are in robotic surgery and oropharyngeal cancer.
