Dr. Marta Fantoni, PhD(candidate), Psychologist, and Health Researcher at IRCCS Burlo Garofolo Hospital in Trieste, Italy. I'm a cognitive neuroscientist specialized in neural plasticity, neural speech tracking, and cross-modal integration. I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Cognitive, Computational and Social Neuroscience at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, where I have also served as a research collaborator in 2024. My academic journey includes a visiting research position at Oldenburg University and a post-lauream internship split between the University of Turin and the University of Essex.
I've published papers on sensory development and neurocognitive mechanisms; my interdisciplinary work combines neuroscientific tools such as neuroimaging, experimental psychology, and computational modeling to understand how humans perceive, adapt, and communicate in complex environments.
