Nihar Rama (he/him) is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Chicago who will be applying to otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency programs in the 2025-26 application cycle. His research interests include head and neck oncologic outcomes, health services research, equity in surgery, and medical/surgical education. Outside of the hospital, Nihar enjoys trying new restaurants and cafes, traveling, all things music, discovering new podcasts, spending time with family and friends, and playing basketball.
