Dr Friedman is an internationally recognized neurotologist and scientist whose clinical interests are focused on lateral skull base surgery and his scientific interests are focused on the genetic landscape on common inner ear diseases. He is an NIH funded investigator and serves as the vice chairman of the department and the director of the UC San Diego Acoustic Neuroma Program. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children and surfing the waves of Del Mar.
