MSTP Student
Medical College of Wisconsin
My name is Mohamed Khalil, and I am a third-year medical student in the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I recently completed my PhD in Immunology, where my dissertation focused on characterizing memory NK cells. My research interests lie in harnessing the immunotherapeutic potential of memory NK cells in the context of oral mucosal cancers.
Clinically, I am interested in otolaryngology, and I will be applying for residency through the ERAS match during the 2025–2026 application cycle. I am passionate about translational research and aim to integrate scientific discovery with surgical care to improve outcomes for patients with head and neck malignancies.
