My name is Ritu Bhalerao, and I'm currently a third year medical student at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. I'm interested in ENT and Head & Neck Surgery because it encompasses an enormously diverse patient population in terms of conditions that are managed. I'm particularly interested in head and neck surgery because there is a such wide breadth of opportunities for research to increase treatment optimization for complex cancers. I look forward to continuing my pursuit of this field as I further my medical career.
