Dr. Jason C. Lee is a Facial Plastic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgeon at JFK Hackensack Meridian Health University. He specializes in a broad spectrum of complex reconstructive procedures, including free tissue transfer to the head and neck, spine, and extremities following oncologic surgeries or traumatic injuries. As a facial plastic surgeon, he is also highly skilled in managing challenging conditions such as facial nerve paralysis and performing Mohs reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Lee earned a combined MD and PhD degree from the Medical College of Georgia, with a concentration in neuroscience. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, followed by advanced fellowship training in facial plastics and microvascular reconstruction at the prestigous Oregon Health & Science University under Dr. Mark Wax
As both a surgeon-scientist and neuroscientist, Dr. Lee's research focuses on understanding how the nervous system regulates the tumor microenvironment and exploring mechanisms of peripheral nerve regeneration following injury. His goal is to secure extramural research funding and drive impactful advancements in patient care.
