Robert Morrison, PhD, is a Research Scientist at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he is developing new bioelectronic therapies for neurological injuries affecting the larynx, and investigating how pathological neural activity contributes to laryngeal sensorimotor dysfunction. He holds a PhD in neuroscience and cognition, and has a background in neuromodulatory therapies for upper limb dysfunction after neuropathy, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. His research interests include neural dynamics of motor learning and recovery, motor planning and execution, and neuroprosthetics.
