Friday, October 10, 2025
12:00 PM - 5:00 PM EDT
Location: (Offsite) Indiana University Simulation Center, Fairbanks Hall
CME/MOC Credit: 4.5
This is a 4.5-hour course geared toward practicing otolaryngologists to prepare them for low frequency, high stakes emergency situations that they may not encounter often in their daily routine. Attendees will participate in a rotation of six simulated otolaryngology emergencies with a cohort of six peer attendees. Following each simulation, a debriefing will be held with the group and a facilitator and will include discussion of best practices for these situations based on published guidelines and available literature. The group members will share their own personal experiences as part of the debrief to learn from each other.
The workshop will be held at the Simulation Center at Fairbanks Hall on the Indiana University School of Medicine campus.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Registration fee includes the workshop offering CME/MOC credit, transportation, and lunch.
Shuttle transportation services will be departing from ICC at 11:00 am and returning at 5:00 pm.
The workshop has limited capacity to accommodate 40 practicing otolaryngologists and residents. We encourage you to register early to reserve your spot!
