PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: We all have within us the power to live long and stay healthy by adopting some simple lifestyle habits. This presentation will offer simple, insightful tips, or “hacks” on how to implement these habits into your current routine. A key principle is that your genes are not your destiny; genes may load the proverbial gun, but lifestyle is what ultimately determines if the trigger is pulled. Areas of discussion will include healthy eating, adequate physical activity, restorative sleep, avoiding burnout, and positive social relationships. Participants will be empowered to implement these hacks and thereby improve their personal and professional resilience and longevity.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the role of lifestyle habits in determining health and longevity
  2. Identify practical ways, or “hacks” to reduce burnout and improve your nutrition, sleep, physical activity, and social connections
  3. Be empowered to enhance your personal and professional longevity, regardless of your genes or family history
