PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Given the sheer volume of annual publications, it is difficult to remain up to date in evidence-based otolaryngology. This course will summarize the key literature in the fields of General Otolaryngology, Pediatric Otolaryngology, Rhinology, Sleep Medicine, including randomized trials, systematic reviews, and clinical practice guidelines, and other important evidence based updates. Participants will be able to update
current clinical knowledge and improve their patient’s quality of care.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify key evidence-based medicine (including randomized trials, systematic reviews, and clinical practice guidelines) within the topics of General Otolaryngology, Pediatric Otolaryngology, Rhinology, Sleep Medicine.
  2. Utilize the presented evidence-based information to increase current knowledge in clinical practice.
  3. Integrate evidence-based information into clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.
