PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The use of biologics in chronic rhinosinusitis represents a critical knowledge gap, as identified by the AAO-HNSF academy for 2025. These therapies have only recently been approved for chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps in 2019, despite their established use in other conditions. This program aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the evolving landscape of biologic treatments for chronic sinusitis.

A panel of expert faculty will discuss real-world cases, management approaches, and clinical protocols, incorporating both European and U.S. perspectives on patient care. Key topics will include:

Cost and Accessibility: Insights into financial considerations and healthcare access.
Side Effect Management: A detailed review of adverse effects and mitigation strategies.
Multidisciplinary Care: The role of collaborative approaches with other medical experts.
The program will also explore the future of biologic therapies, including emerging treatments, their mechanisms of action, and the potential development of targeted biologics for patients with type 2 inflammation but without nasal polyposis.
