PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Present a extended drug induced sleep endoscopy technique, a new model to realize as separate procedure the sleep upper airway exploration.
One hour lenght to realize a oral appliance titration with a mandibular advance simulator with a brand new device, look for positional variables and we can do a CPAP titration too with a CPAP to see the dynamic differences in the upper airway collapse.

We can see the collapse in all levels and we can gathering more information for a tailored treatment selection.

Learning Objectives:

  1. How to implement a new procedure in your practice,based in the endoscopic procedures in other areas like Pulmonology/Gastroenterology. 1 hour lenght exploration as unique procedure with the use of different devices to see dynamic variables in the upper airway collapse in OSA and UARS patients.
  2. Using new devices to more accurate collection of data, like the mandibular advance simulator and the use of adaptors to get video and soundNo more five minutes DISE, because we cant offer a treatment with good otucomes if you dont see the complete aspects of that complex disease.
  3. In order to get at a more individualized treatment selection. The patient can choose among different therapeutic options like surgical, no surgical, oral appliances, positional therapy or hybrid treatments.
