PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: With the FDA approval of Nyxoah OSA Hypoglossal nerve stimulator (expected First Quarter 2005), , the decision of which Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulator is appropriate for which patient is controversial. This panel of expert experienced Sleep Surgeons will present real OSA cases including DISE when appropriate, and present a discussion of recommended therapy and the results of the surgery. . The risk and potential complications will also be discussed.

OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 1: Become knowledgeable the differences with Inspire vs Nyxoah Therapy

OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 2: Become knowledgeable of the patient characteristics that are appropriated for Inspire and Nyxoah Therapy

OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 3: Become knowledgeable of the results and complications in actual patients having undergone Inspire or Nyxoah Therapy.

BACKGROUND STATEMENT: With FDA approval of Nyxoah therapy (expected early 2025), there are challenges to obtaining good patient results with both the Nyxoah and Inspire therapy. Using real patient information, decision making process, and challenges for each therapy will be addressed for the audience to review.

Comprehensive Otolaryngology Track Statement : OSA treatment, including hypoglossal nerve stimulator surgery being done by Comprehensive Otolaryngologists as well as Sleep Specialists. This real experience will be enlightening to both groups and help make decision in therapy. It will also address the challenges in surgery technique.
