Materialize Bio is a preclinical-stage Tufts spin-out developing a new class of surgical implants from regenerative biopolymers. By replacing traditional metal and plastic with materials like chitosan and silk, we aim to enable safer, more natural, and resorbable solutions tailored to the body. Our lead product in development, a breakthrough biopolymer ear tube, reflects our mission to enhance healing, reduce complications, and transform implant procedures through nature-inspired innovation.
